2024 New Autos, 1930 Sinclair Oil Delivery Truck and 1950 Tow Truck Among Features at OKC Auto Show

OKLAHOMA CITY (Feb. 20, 2024) – The 107th Oklahoma City Auto Show will feature 2024 new autos along with a classic 1930 Sinclair Oil Delivery Truck and 1950 Tow Truck as part of the “Highways of Oklahoma Classic Car Show” display.

The 107th anniversary of the Oklahoma City International Auto Show is being held March 1-3 at Oklahoma State Fair Park in the Bennett Event Center.

Among the automaker brands participating in the show are Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Genesis, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jeep, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, RAM, Subaru, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

The 2024 cars on display will include the all-new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus and many other autos being featured at the OKC Auto Show for the first time.

“We are really pleased with the number of automaker brands participating at this year’s OKC Auto Show as well as the number of 2024 models available for the public to see,” Peter Hodges, president of the Oklahoma Automobile Dealers Association, said. “Guests to the show will have an opportunity to see a wide variety of new models while checking out some of the other features of the show such as our Highways of Oklahoma Classic Car Show display.”

The classic car display will feature a 1930 Sinclair Oil Delivery Truck, courtesy of Tom’s Carseum in Edmond. The oil delivery truck has been a part of the museum for the past year and is appearing at the OKC Auto Show for the first time.

“It is an exciting opportunity to have this classic truck be a part of the OKC Auto Show this year,” Tom’s Carseum owner Tom Douglass said. “This 1930 Ford Model AA tanker truck was refurbished during the 1980’s to have the same look as it did five decades before, and it has held up to maintain that same appearance today as it did 94 years ago.”

Also featured in the classic car display is a 1950 tow truck. Jerry Jones, owner of Jerry’s Wrecker Service, first purchased the tow truck in 1998. Jones restored the truck, and it has since been on display either at Jones’ business or at a variety of wrecker shows. This is the first time it has appeared at the OKC Auto Show.

“It’s always exciting to have any of our vehicles included as part of the OKC Auto Show,” Jones said. “We put a lot of work into restoring this 1950 tow truck and we look forward to everyone getting a chance to see it on display at this year’s show.”

The Oklahoma City Auto Show is one of the largest consumer shows in Oklahoma and will feature a variety of entertaining activities for adults and kids. The 107th anniversary of the Oklahoma City Auto Show will feature the Classic 1930 Sinclair Oil Delivery Truck, the 1950 Tow Truck and dozens of classic automobiles; the electric- and gas-powered auto indoor ride-alongs; the 18-Hole Mini-Golf Course Experience with proceeds benefiting The Sanctuary Women’s Development Center’s building campaign; exotic cars including the Ferrari FS90 from Modern Exotics; a “Coffee and Cars” event; custom vehicles like Roush, Black Widow, SCA, RMT and Tuscany; First Responders Touch-a-Truck; and lots and lots of 2024 new cars and trucks from 21 automobile brands.
